New Migrant Database
With increasing ethnic diversity into the Nelson community, it is important that employers are aware of, and recognize the valuable skills migrants bring to the region. In order to help employers readily access these potential employees, a migrant skills database has been established allowing for free access and security for both employers and candidates.
Access for Employers
If you are an employer and looking for someone with the right skills for the job, log on to the New Migrant Database - Employer.
Access for Migrants

You can also find help and support in various steps of your settlement:

Settlement Support
The Nelson Regional EDA works closely with other stakeholders taking a regional approach to support successful settlement. As a member of the Nelson Tasman Settlement Support Network Group, the EDA continues to help ensure the successful longterm settlement of new migrants.
Information Packs
The EDA has developed an information pack providing key details on Nelson-Tasman for consideration by newcomers before they arrive. These packs are designed for employers to send to migrants along with company specific information. Copies are available through the Nelson Regional EDA.
